Principle of Plunger Sprayer

The plunger sprayer works by a motor driven drive system that makes the plunger reciprocate to extract the paint from the paint bucket and spray it onto the target surface through the nozzle. Specifically, the plunger spray machine consists of a motor, a drive system, a paint bucket and a nozzle, etc., of which the motor is one of the key components.
Working process
Filling process : When the plunger is at bottom dead center, paint fills the pump oil chamber through the oil hole in the plunger sleeve. As the plunger moves from BDC to DDC, part of the paint is pushed back into the low pressure oil chamber of the injection pump until the plunger closes the oil hole .
oil supply process : When the plunger closes the oil hole and continues to move up, the paint pressure in the pump oil chamber increases sharply. When the pressure is greater than the opening pressure of the oil outlet valve, the oil outlet valve opens and the paint enters the high-pressure tubing. As the plunger continues to rise, the oil pressure continues to rise, and the injector begins spraying when the paint pressure is higher than the injection pressure of the injector.
oil stop process : when the plunger continues to move up to the chute and the oil hole is connected, the paint in the pump chamber flows out along the chute, the oil pressure drops rapidly, the oil outlet valve returns under the action of the spring, and the oil supply stops. Then the plunger continues up until the CAM reaches its maximum lift .
Oil return process : the CAM continues to rotate and the plunger begins to move down to begin the next working cycle .

Plunger sprayer is widely used in architectural decoration, automobile repair and shipbuilding. In architectural decoration, it is used for large-area painting of indoor walls and ceilings; In automobile repair, used for body painting; In shipbuilding, for the coating of ship shells and cabins .
